The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken a big decision in the interest of students and parents. CBSE has decided to start new regional offices, centers of excellence (COE), and sub-regional offices in 7 cities. After this, the number of regional offices of CBSE will increase to 23. CBSE has issued an official notification on Friday, 22 August, regarding the establishment of new regional offices.

New regional offices of CBSE in these cities
New 7 regional offices of CBSE are being started in 7 states of the country. Under this, regional offices will be started in Lucknow in UP, Gurugram in Haryana, Raipur in Chhattisgarh, Ranchi in Jharkhand, Agartala in Tripura, Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh, and Gangtok in Sikkim. In this, CBSE offices in Agartala in Tripura, Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh, and Gangtok in Sikkim will work as sub-regional offices.
According to the information provided by CBSE, work has started in Raipur, Ranchi, Itanagar, and Gangtok regional offices from 22 August. At the same time, work will start in the Gurugram regional office from September 1. Work will start in the Agartala sub-regional office from September 15.
These districts are included in the Gurugram regional office.
Till now, all the districts of Haryana were under the Panchkula regional office, but now CBSE has decided to start a regional office in Gurugram as well. Faridabad, Bhiwani, Gurugram, Mahendragarh, Charkhi Dadri, Nuh, Sonipat, Palwal, Rewari, Rohtak, and Jhajjar districts have been included in the Gurugram Regional Office. This means that the CBSE-related work of the students living in these districts will now be done in the Gurugram Regional Office.
30 districts under Lucknow Regional Office
Till now, all the districts of UP were under the regional offices of CBSE located in Prayagraj and Noida, but now the Lucknow Regional Office has also been started. There are 30 districts of UP under the Lucknow Regional Office. This includes Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Lucknow, Amethi, Auraiya, Ayodhya, Balrampur, Bahraich, Barabanki, Banda, Fatehpur, Firozabad, Etawah, Farrukhabad, Gonda, Hamirpur, Hardoi, Jalaun, Jhansi, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Mahoba, Mainpuri, Rae Bareli, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Unnao and Shravasti districts.
