Grated coconut - 1 cup (grated)
Butter - 100 grams (half cup)
Grated sugar - 125 grams (3/4 cup)
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Milk - 1-2 tablespoons
Recipe
- Mix flour with baking powder and sift it twice into a bowl to ensure the flour and baking powder are well combined.
- Put butter into a large bowl, add sugar, and beat well until a smooth mixture is formed.
- Add flour to the butter and sugar mixture and mix well. There should be no lumps in the flour. Add coconut to the mixture and mix well to form a dough.
- If the mixture seems too dry, add 1 or 2 tablespoons of milk. Grease a baking tray with ghee. Scoop out small portions of the mixture.
- Roll out the dough with your hands and place it on the baking tray. Place cookies a little apart from each other. Make as many cookies as the tray can hold.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the cookie tray in the oven and let it sit for 15 minutes. After the time is up, take out the cookies and check them.

- If the cookies are lightly browned in the center and slightly darker at the edges, take them out. If not, set the oven again for 3-5 minutes.
- Next, remove the coconut cookies from the oven and, after they cool, remove them from the tray and place them in a basket.
- Similarly, prepare the second tray and bake the cookies. Bake all the coconut cookies in this manner.
