Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel invites culinary connoisseurs on a journey of nostalgia and rich heritage with The Parsi Culinary Chapter — a specially curated Parsi food pop-up hosted at Feast Restaurant from August 20 to 24, 2025.
The event will be headlined by celebrity Parsi chefs Tehmtan and Shernaz Dumasia, who bring over three decades of experience serving Mumbai’s elite, including Bollywood stars. Known for their unwavering commitment to authenticity, the duo is celebrated for reviving forgotten Parsi flavours across India through high-profile food festivals.
Guests can savour a variety of traditional Parsi dishes rarely found outside Parsi homes – from the robust and comforting Dhansak to the aromatic Patra ni Machhi, spicy Kolmi no Patio, tangy Jardaloo Sali Boti, and fluffy Akuri. Each dish is lovingly prepared using spices and ingredients sourced directly from Mumbai to preserve their original flavours.
Parsi cuisine, born from a fusion of Persian roots and Indian influences, is a delightful symphony of sweet and savoury. Marked by ingredients such as saffron, cinnamon, dried fruits, and lentils, the cuisine mirrors the warmth and cultural richness of the Parsi community, which made India its home centuries ago.
