Kim Kardashian's two word response as Hollywood star savages latest Skims product

Kim Kardashian had just two words to share as Hollywood star Anthony Hopkins savaged her latest product release with Skims. The reality starhas released a new product, which has been likened to something Hannibal Lecter would wear.

Anthony played Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs, and his character's face mask has drawn comparisonsto the new offering by Skims.Kim has come under fire for her latest product, which is called the seamless sculpt face wrap and is available in two colours ; clay or cocoa. It is currently listed on the Skims webpage for £52 each but fans will need to join a waitlist to get their hands on it.

The website describes it as: "Our first-ever face innovation is here. This must-have face wrap boasts our signature sculpting fabric and features collagen yarns for ultra-soft jaw support. Velcro closures at the top and nape of the neck allow for easy, everyday wear." This comes after critics had their say on the £52 face wrap.

Sharing a video of him in the face sculpt, Anthony wrote: "Thank you, Kim. Don’t be afraid to come over for dinner. @kimkardashian @skims." The video was then shared to Kim's own Instagram page and her 356 million followers.

Alongside the video, she wrote: "I'M SCREAMING!!!" as he modelled the unlikely new product, which has been dubbed by some as an April Fool's joke and had drawn comparisons to the face mask the serial killer wore.

Launching the product on Instagram, SKIMS wrote alongside pictures of the product: "Just Dropped: The Ultimate Face—our first-ever face innovation, made with signature sculpting fabric and infused with collagen yarns for ultra-soft jaw support."

In the comment section, horrified fans fumed over the latest release. One wrote: "Just a reminder to all you young ones, I’m almost 40. Never had a single one of these and used the same face moisturiser all my life. This won’t stop the aging process.

"It also won’t do anything to prevent a single line or ‘imperfection’ from forming on your face. To age is an absolute blessing and every line, scar, mark and whatever else is just a reminder of every day life. This is so toxic. We ALL age and what a miracle that is!"

Another added: "Can’t tell if trolling," whilst a third penned: "What in the Hannibal is this." A fourth added: "It’s the way I actually thought it was April fools day for a split second."

A fifth penned: "State of the world in shambles, people dying … Kim: New Hannibal Lector Nylon face wrap just dropped!!!" with a sixth adding: "This is embarrassing for skims. TRULY embarrassing. This isn’t empowering for women."
