King Charles' two-word reaction to Donald Trump immediately after his speech at the lavish state banquet in Windsor Castle has been revealed by a lip reader.
During the speech, Trump, 79, appeared to go off-script by making a number of political remarks, something not seen as normal protocol during state banquets. That's especially if the monarch is present, but with his script in hand, Trump suddenly appeared to take aim against his predecessor Joe Biden.
Standing betweenCharles and Kate Middleton at the 47-metre long table, Trump, who is continuing his historic second state visit today, turned to the King and said: “We are, as a country, as you know, doing unbelievably well.”

He continued: “We had a very...sick country one year ago, and today I believe we're the hottest country anywhere in the world. In fact, nobody's even questioning it...but we owe so much of that to you.”

After the speech in front of other royals like Prince William and Queen Camilla, who Trump also paid tribute to, God Save the King was played.
People then took their seats to begin the feast and immediately the King and US President were spotted in conversation. Lip reader Jeremy Freeman couldn't catch everything that was said but noted one powerful two word comment from Charles that perhaps perfectly showed his feelings to what was said.
According to Jeremy, Charles simply said: "Thank you."
Elsewhere in the speech, Trump praised Prince William, saying: “His Majesty has also raised a remarkable son in His Royal Highness, Prince of Wales, really amazing, we’ve gotten to know you, and I think you’ll be an unbelievable success in the future.”
He added that he and First Lady Melania were “delighted to visit again with Prince William and see Princess Catherine, so radiant, so healthy, so beautiful”.
As for the connection between the US and the UK, he added: “Together, we’ve done more good for humanity than any two countries in all of history.
“Together, we must defend the exceptional heritage that makes us who we are and we must continue to stand for the values and the people of the English-speaking world, and we do indeed stand for that. On behalf of all Americans, I offer a toast to one of the great friendships.”
Other notable people present included Trump’s son-in-law Mark Boulos who was joined by his wife Tiffany Trump.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer was also in attendance as was Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch.
The King also gave a speech prior to the US leader where he honoured the “special relationship” that binds the two nations.
He said: “We have celebrated together, mourned together and stood together in the best and worst of times.”
The King added: “The ocean may still divide us, but in so many other ways we are now the closest of kin.”
