Emmerdale youngster Carl King Jr finds himself in troubled waters next week, as spoilers for the ITV soap have confirmed he commits a chilling crime. Next week, Carl is hauled in front of the police after being accused of sending an indecent image of a minor - images fellow youngster Clemmie sent to him.
Nicola and Jimmy are terrified as Carl heads to the police station, and admits to sharing Clemmie's photo. Despite Nicola's pleas that her son has already learned his lesson, the cops insist they're taking the matter seriously, as the rift between the Kings and the Fletchers continues to grow.

Clemmie tells Dawn why she sent the photo to Carl in the first place, leaving Dawn racked with guilt as she realises her adopted daughter's reasons.
Later, Dawn approaches Nicola to talk mother-to-mother, but things soon escalate into a row. Laurel is there for her best friend, trying to console Nicola about Carl's troubles, but Nicola can't help but spiral - until Laurel makes an admission.
A frustrated Dawn is left fuming with the school's lack of support in the matter, and Joe's suggestion only brings about more conflict for her.
She tells Joe about her harrowing past - how she was coerced into sex work and drug addiction in parallel with April - and explains how she met Clemmie's mum while living on the streets - making it clear she'll do anything to protect Clemmie now.
Before long, Nicola and Laurel too both realise they're out of their depths when it comes to their kids' online lives, and decide to work together to protect them from the dangers of the internet.
