Reality TV star Katie Price has spoken out after her ex-husband Peter Andre issued an explosive statement about their co-parenting struggles. He slammed her in a lengthy post in which he accused her of making "repeated lies"in the years since they separated. Katie, 47, and Peter, 52, ended their marriage back in 2009 after they met on I'm a Celebrity five years earlier. The exes are parents to kids Junior Andre, 20, and Princess Andre, 18, together.
On Thursday (August 14), Peter slammed Katie in a furious post online, in which he insisted that he wanted to "set the record straight". A representative for the former model told Express.co.uk: "Katie is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, whis was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring it up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyer's hands. Katie will no longer be gaslight and bullied as she once was..."

In the surprising post, Peter fumed: "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.
"The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.
"In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, uot of respect for my children. In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims.
"She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today."
Peter concluded: "Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months."
His comments come after Katie slammed the Mysterious Girl hitmaker and his management the CAN Group, who also used to represent Katie, earlier this month following the release of her daughter's new show, the Princess Diaries. She claimed that she hasn't been allowed to be involved or help guide Princess in her career.
She said that she's "upset" that her daughter is being managed by Peter's management, who she claimed consider Katie to be "trash". The mum-of-five spoke out about the Princess Diaries ahead of its launch on ITV. On her podcast, the Katie Price Show, she told listeners that she's "very upset" that the CAN Group are managing her daughter's career.
Katie, who noted that her daughter is following a similar career path, said: "I have not been allowed to go on any photoshoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. Why? Because I'm not allowed and I'm not welcome."
Seh also told fans that Princess lives with her. Whilst dismissing rumours of a feud with her, she said: "We get on like best friends, mother and daughter. Princess lives with me and she stays at her dad's. Now, she's been staying at her dad's the past two months because she's been filming her show."
The CAN Group later released a statement addressing the backlash. It read: "As a company, our duty of care to our clients is paramount. We would never advise a client on their personal life unless asked and we have never stopped anyone seeing their families."
More recently, Katie had called for a meeting with Peter and her former management. As previously reported, she told listeners on her podcast: "I feel like I've missed out on so much and it's so not fair to bring Princess as piggy in the middle so I think it's about time all of us adults just sit down and talk about what their beef is with me and just get over it. Life would be such more at peace."
