'Powerful' Amazon cordless vacuum with 33% off 'makes cleaning faster'

Amazon has knocked 33% off a highly-rated cordless vacuum cleaner that's said to make cleaning faster. The retail giant is offering a reduction from £179.99 to £119.99 on the Ultenic U16 Flex Cordless Vacuum Cleaner.

This model delivers 'turbocharged' suction thanks to its a brushless motor that up to 50,000Pa so it's ideal for both hard floors and carpets. It boasts three suction modes from low to high, enabling it to tackle stubborn dirt, pet hair and embedded debris in carpet.

The vacuum is tailored for homes with pets and has an anti-tangle design in the brushhead similar to rival Shark vacuums, which both protects floors and extends the device's lifespan. Another Shark-rivalling feature is Ultenic's bendable tube, allowing users to clean beneath furniture without bending.

In addition to its flexibility, the vacuum offers long reach thanks to its nozzle that can extend up to 1.2m and the included crevice tool, making it easier to reach in high areas or behind furniture. The Ultenic U16 has been designed with green headlights in the brush head that make it easier to see dust and dirt in darker areas, along with a battery capable of running for 60 minutes.

There's also an LED colour display that provides real-time updates on suction power, battery level and error alerts. The Ultenic vacuum offers an affordable alternative to premium Shark models like the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum (£199.99), although this gadget does boast an automatic emptying function.

Another standout deal is £100 off the Hoover HF4 Hydro Cordless Vacuum Cleaner (£199), which comes with a mop function to clean the kitchen, bathroom and other hard floors. But for those sticking with the Amazon deal, the Ultenic U16 Flex Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has achieved a 4.6-star rating after more than 3,000 reviews, 91% of which are four or five stars.

One happy customer said: "This vacuum has made my cleaning routine faster and less tiring. It's lightweight, very easy to manoeuvre, and the flexible wand is a game changer for cleaning under furniture without having to bend down.

"The suction is excellent on hard floors and carpets - much better than I expected for a cordless vacuum in this price range. It's a fantastic product with thoughtful design and performance."

Another said: "I've used this every day since I bought it, and it does the job well. The suction is good, and with the extra heads I can get into the corners of my car and house. The battery life is great too, I've had it for over a week and only charged it once."

However, this buyer was less impressed, saying: "It's good value for money. My only criticism is that the length of the brush tool is too short, and the front of the dirt chamber keeps bumping against things when used in confined spaces."

While another glowing review said: "Powerful and convenient. This has been a game-changer for my cleaning routine. It's lightweight and has surprisingly strong suction for a cordless model. Perfect for quick cleanups and everyday use."
