Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank tied the knot at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on October 12, 2018. The couple, who first met back in 2010, are now proud parents to two sons, August, four, and Ernest, two.
As well as their royal family members, guests at the couple's wedding included some well-known celebrities such as Naomi Campbell and Robbie Williams. The rows of the royal box, which are located closest to the altar, were lined with guests such as Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip and King Charles. Also in the front row were Eugenie's parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson and her older sister, Princess Beatrice.
Next to Andrew, 65, was an empty and the reason is simply due to royal protocol as it is forbidden for anyone to sit in front of the monarch.
The Daily Mail also previously reported that late Queen chose not to sit on the lower level, the empty seat, because of its uncomfortable seating.
Princess Eugenie, 35, wore a stunning long-sleeved ivory "open-back" dress with folded shoulders and a full-length train designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos.
The royal specifically asked for the dress to have an open back because she wanted her scar from the scoliosis operation that she underwent at the age of 12 to be on show.
Eugenie pulled up to the church in a 1977 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI and proceeded down the aisle escorted by her father, up until the Nave to the Organ Screen, where Jack and his best man were standing.
Following the officially ceremony, a private dinner was held at the Royal Lodge.
Eugenie chose to wear a Zac Posen silk gown for the occasion.
