The 45th Ryder Cup is underway in New York and already we have been treated to plenty of drama and key moments. Luke Donald's European team have arrived at Bethpage Black as the defending champions and showed their class to race into a 3-1 morning foursomes lead.
US President Donald Trump turned up at the mid-point to try and stir his fellow Americans into a response for the afternoon fourballs session, but it was the Europeans who turned the screw, winning the session again to finish Day One with a commanding 5½-2½ lead.
Day 2 has alresdy been a brilliant spectacle, with Europe extending their lead to 8½-3½. Afternoon fourballs are back on Saturday so can Europe build on their stunning success so far in New York?
