Slovenian dancer and choreographer Alja Škorjanec was invited onto the latest instalment of the Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show, It Takes Two, where he issued a warning about his upcoming routine with his celebrity dance partner La Voix. The pair will perform the Cha Cha Cha on Saturday night to Hit Me With Your Best Shot, with Chris Dennis revealing it could be "dangerous". Chris, who is the first drag queen to star in the BBC show, told host Fleur East: "There are moves in this choreography that if they go wrong, one of us could be knocked out. "There are drops to the floor, you're going to see acrobatics."
The drag legend joked about adding those moves to their upcoming routine on the live show, which alarmed their partner, Alja.
A concerned Alja Škorjanec said: "I'm genuinely worried, the dance and the story of the dance, like Chris just said, is very intense. That's the best way to do it.
"And if you do one move too soon or one move too late, it can be seriously dangerous."
"There's a lot of jeopardy in this," Fleur added before the professional dancer admitted: "I'm shaking, actually."
When Fleur asked how the pair were going to hit the dancefloor with their best shot, the drag legend said: "We are going to unleash glamour and fabulousness 80s style this week. No more grey-haired wigs.
"Maybe Tess and Claudia need to step up their game this week, as we are really going to knock it out of the park."
As the host teased the pair about their "acrobatics" happening in their routine, Alja dispaired: "Why would you do this to me?"
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday evening on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two at 6.30pm.
